UMP Modified Engine Package
We start with the Dart Little M Block on 4.125 bore
Add a Callies Dragon Slayer crank with the stroke choice of 3.625, 3.750, 3.800 or 3.875 strokes for 388, 400, 406 or 415 cid.
Then we add our coated JE pistons sealed with Total Seal rings supported by CalliesUltra series or Oliver connecting rods on Mahle/Clevite bearings
We lubricate it all with a Titan oil pump sucking Brad Penn oil from a Doug Lee Engineuity 12qt. ProPan aluminum oil pan.
Our solid roller cam and Ultra series lifters are precisely driven by the Shaver/Wesmar gear drive. Manley 3/8 pushrods and T&D shaft rocker arms actuate the Ferrea stainless valves with the PAC Springs stabilizing the valve train. The valve train is precisely checked and measured for proper geometry and fitted in a pair of Brodix 18 degree CNC ported cylinder heads.
The air will enter the engine through either a KB gas or Willy’s methanol carburetor sitting on top of an EdelbrockCNC ported intake manifold.
We prefer to circulate the coolant through the engine utilizing an Edelbrock CT water pump and our coolant line package. The pump driven by the Jones serpentine pulley package makes for a nice combination.
Our 18 Degree engines have been out for 3 years. They are easy to drive and pull all the way down the straight according to our customers.
